Eligibility Criteria & Qualifications
1. Target Group
- The recruitment is restricted to Ex-Servicemen and Ex-Agniveers from the Army, Navy, or Air Force. Disabled Ex-Servicemen are not eligible.
2. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed the 10th Standard (Matriculation) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Crucial Note: Candidates who have passed Graduation or higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.
3. Language Proficiency
- Candidates must have sound working knowledge of the Tamil language (reading, writing, and speaking).
4. Military Standards & Character
- Must possess an “Exemplary” character record at the time of discharge.
- Must meet minimum medical category standards like SHAPE-1 or AYE at discharge.
5. Age Limit (As on 01.08.2026)
- General Ex-Servicemen: Maximum age of 26 years (plus actual military service rendered plus 3 years, up to an absolute upper limit of 45 years).
- Age relaxations for OBC, SC/ST, and Ex-Agniveers apply strictly according to government and bank guidelines.
