10+2 with Physics and Maths (PCM) for certain Grade 3 posts.

Age Limit (as on July 1, 2025):

Technician Grade 1 Signal: 18 to 33 years

Technician Grade 3: 18 to 30 years

Age Relaxation: Permissible for reserved categories (SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen) as per Government of India rules. Refer to the official notification for detailed age relaxation norms.

Nationality:

A Citizen of India, or

A subject of Nepal, or

A subject of Bhutan, or

A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
