Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released a notification for recruitment to the posts of Enforcement Sub Inspector. The application process has started and interested candidates can apply online till 30 June 2025. For this, candidates will have to visit the official website of the commission bpssc.bihar.gov.in and fill the application form.
Only those candidates who have obtained a graduation degree from a recognized university can apply for this post. Talking about the age limit, the minimum age has been fixed at 21 years and the maximum age has been fixed at 37 years for male candidates of the general category, while the maximum age limit for female candidates is 40 years. The reserved categories will get age relaxation as per the government rules. The age will be calculated on the basis of 1 August 2025.
To get selected in the recruitment, the candidates will also have to fulfill the physical eligibility criteria. The minimum height of male candidates should be 165 cm, while the chest should be 79 cm in the normal position and 84 cm after inflation. At the same time, the minimum height of female candidates has been fixed at 150 cm. Talking about the application fee, General, OBC, EWS and other state candidates will have to pay a fee of ₹ 750, while SC, ST and Bihar female candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹ 400.
The selection in this recruitment will be done in three phases. First of all, a preliminary written examination will be conducted, after which the eligible candidates will have to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Finally, the final selection will be made through an interview.
